Refunds & Returns Policy

Overview

RaceKartNetwork (RKN) operates as a peer‑to‑peer marketplace connecting buyers and sellers within the karting community. As such, refunds and returns are governed by this policy, individual listing terms, and applicable protection programs.

All users are expected to review listings carefully before purchasing. By completing a transaction on RKN, you agree to the terms below.


General Policy: All Sales Are Final

Unless otherwise stated in the listing or covered under an RKN protection program:

All sales on RaceKartNetwork are final.

RKN does not offer blanket refunds or returns for buyer’s remorse, incorrect fitment, or change of mind.


Seller‑Defined Return Terms

Sellers may choose to offer returns at their discretion. If a seller offers returns:

  • Return eligibility must be clearly stated in the listing
  • Return window may not exceed 7 calendar days from delivery
  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless stated otherwise
  • Item must be returned in the same condition as received

If no return terms are stated, the item is considered non‑returnable.


Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds or transaction reversals may be approved only under the following conditions:

  • Item materially differs from the listing description
  • Item arrives damaged due to improper packaging
  • Incorrect item was shipped
  • Item is proven to be counterfeit or stolen
  • Transaction qualifies under an RKN protection program

Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.


Non‑Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Buyer’s remorse or changed mind
  • Normal wear consistent with description
  • Improper installation or misuse
  • Failure to verify compatibility prior to purchase
  • Items altered, installed, or disassembled after delivery
  • Delays caused by carriers once shipped properly

Engine‑Specific Transactions

Engines are non‑returnable by default.

Refunds or replacements for engines are only available if:

  • The Engine Protection Program was purchased at checkout
  • The claim meets all eligibility requirements

Without Engine Protection, engine purchases are final.


Dispute Resolution Process

If a dispute arises:

  1. Buyer must contact the seller through RKN messaging
  2. If unresolved, buyer may open a formal dispute
  3. RKN will review evidence including messages, photos, videos, and tracking

RKN may:

  • Issue a refund
  • Issue platform credit
  • Deny the claim
  • Require item return or third‑party inspection

All decisions are final.


Chargebacks & Payment Abuse

Unauthorized chargebacks, payment disputes outside the RKN system, or abuse of payment processors will result in:

  • Immediate account suspension
  • Withheld funds
  • Permanent marketplace ban

RKN actively disputes fraudulent chargebacks.


RKN Authority

RaceKartNetwork reserves the right to:

  • Deny refunds that do not meet policy requirements
  • Reverse transactions involving fraud or policy violations
  • Suspend or ban users abusing the refund system

Refunds and returns are enforced solely at RKN’s discretion.


Final Note

RKN’s goal is to protect honest racers while maintaining a fair and sustainable marketplace. Clear listings, good communication, and realistic expectations ensure the best experience for everyone.

Safety Trust Misconduct

Safety, Trust & Misconduct Policy

RaceKartNetwork (RKN) is a trust-based marketplace. Fraud, scams, misrepresentation, harassment, fee avoidance, or abuse of any kind are strictly prohibited.

RKN has zero tolerance for misconduct.

RKN reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any user, at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, at its sole discretion. Listings may be removed, transactions reversed, and funds withheld during investigations.

Use of RaceKartNetwork is a privilege, not a right. Bad actors are removed to protect the karting community.
